We are using Best Book Fairs, the same wonderful vendor we used in fall. You can count on no toys, no trinkets, just lots and lots of top quality books. We’re basically bringing an indie bookstore right to Chatsworth. Our vendor is a New England-based small business, and we are excited to partner with them!
This is a great time to stock up for summer reading! Keep reading skills sharp and boredom at bay with books! Don’t panic buy from Amazon right before you head into summer vacation, pick out something terrific now. Find something your child will love and support Chat.
Fifth grade parents, we will again have a display of books recommended by Hommocks Middle School as summer reading.

The Book Fair is a HUGE fundraiser for our school! Up to 25% of each book sold goes directly to the Chatsworth Ave PTA — all supporting the great programs and projects that make our school special.

Where is the Book Fair?
The Book Fair will be held in the Sky Gym. We’ll have plenty of signs to help you find your way there from the Main Entrance. If stairs are difficult for you, please ask the greeter to direct you to the elevator.
Can I come and shop with my child when their class goes to the fair?
Yes! We LOVE having families come in and shop with their children during school hours. We will have shopping times posted here soon so stay tuned! For parents who cannot make the class shopping time, we offer family shopping hours on Friday June 5 from 8-8:45 AM.
How much does a book cost?
Estimated costs of books at the fair:
Paperback Picture Book - $9-12
Beginner Reader - $6-9
Paperback Chapter Book - $8-15
Graphic Novel - $15-20
Hardcover Book - $17-25
All purchases are subject to the appropriate taxes.
How much money should I send? And what’s the best way to send it?
Send whatever you feel comfortable sending and refer to the book price guidelines to help you determine what makes sense for your family. We accept cash, checks made out to the Chatsworth Ave PTA, credit cards and Apple Pay/Google Pay.
Can I volunteer to help with the fair?
