Come Volunteer!
Open PTA Positions for 2026-27
All of the CHAT PTA's programming and events benefiting our students and community only happen because of the many dedicated volunteers we have each year. Please consider volunteering for one of our open roles next year! Just email to learn more!
PARENTS NIGHT OUT AND PARTIES
Jump in and be part of the fun! Our volunteer roles for Parties and Parents Night Out are a great way to meet other parents, support the kids, and be part of what makes our school community so special. No experience is needed; just bring your enthusiasm, and we’ll make it easy (and fun!) to get involved with plenty of support from the PTA Board.
Head of Parties: The Head of Parties keeps the fun flowing all year long! This role leads the planning and coordination of PTA parties, recruits hosts and sponsors, manages a party squad, and keeps the annual party calendar and communications running smoothly.
Party Squad: The Party Squad helps bring the fun to life! Working alongside the Head of Parties, this team helps find hosts for the year’s events and brainstorms fun, creative ideas to make every party memorable.
Parents Night Out (PNO) Co-Head of Auction: The Co-Heads of Auction help run one of our biggest fundraisers of the year at PNO! From securing amazing auction items and tracking all the details in the master document to managing auction set-up on event night, this team keeps the auction fun, organized, and successful.
PNO Auction Squad: The Auction Squad helps make the auction unforgettable! This team brainstorms fun and creative items to auction off, including event tickets, vacation homes, school experiences, and unique experiences, while leveraging their personal and professional networks to secure great donations and support from local businesses.
Heads of Parents’ Night Out Shadow: Learn the ins and outs of planning Parents’ Night Out by supporting the PNO Chairs throughout the year. A great way to get involved, meet other parents, and prepare for a future leadership role.
ENRICHMENT ROLES
Cultural Arts Committee: Help bring special cultural arts experiences and assemblies to Chatsworth. This role involves maintaining current programming as well as the opportunity to brainstorm new ideas. You will lease with the vendors and school administration to coordinate planning and logistics.
Art Appreciation Committee: Bring the vibrant world of art to Chatsworth students through our Art Appreciation Committee! As a member, you'll help create unique artistic experiences for our kids, from inviting local artists to share their creative process to guiding students as they create projects inspired by different techniques and styles. You'll also play a key role in organizing the Square1 Art Fundraiser, encouraging creativity among students and supporting the school through art. No artistic experience required — just enthusiasm for helping our students discover and celebrate their creativity!
