Promoting Awareness of Student Screens
At Chatsworth, we’re committed to supporting families as they navigate the ever-evolving digital world. The PASS (Promoting Awareness of Student Screens) Committee is here to educate, engage, and empower parents to make informed, thoughtful decisions about technology use for their children.
Our Initiatives
Educational Events — In partnership with the PT Council, we bring expert speakers to our community to explore the impact of technology on children. In 2024, we hosted a compelling Chat Tech Talk with Max Stossel!
Advocacy — We collaborate with Chatsworth staff and fellow elementary school PTAs to support healthy tech use policies and promote digital well-being throughout our district.
Parent Connections — Join our Chatsworth Parent Tech WhatsApp Group to share resources, ask questions, and exchange ideas with other parents. (Yes — we know the irony!)
Our Approach
We understand that every family has its own values, access, and approach to screens and devices. Our goal isn’t to prescribe one-size-fits-all solutions — it’s to offer tools, resources, and support that meet families where they are in their digital parenting journey.
