Chatsworth Garden News: Come Grow With Us!

Our teaching gardens give every Chatsworth student a chance to dig in—literally. Parent-led, teacher-aligned lessons turn science concepts into hands-on discoveries (seed life cycles, pollinators, soil, weather…the works). It’s a fun, meaningful way to pop into your child’s school day and watch learning bloom.

The garden committee is looking for help of all kinds, from occasional helpers for seasonal clean-up days to grade-level coordinators. A green thumb is not required, though any backyard farmers should definitely step right up!

For anyone interested in getting involved, we will have an informational meeting on Friday, September 18th at 9:00am under the orange shade structure near the Addison Street ramp. Questions or RSVPs should be sent to Sarah Finch.
